Ways to Give

Karmê Chöling appreciates your kindness and generosity. Thanks to your support, we continue to introduce meditation to people from all over the world, as well as offer excellent programming and retreats for longtime practitioners, supporters and friends.

Karmê Chöling Shambhala Meditation Center is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization . Gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations.

One-Time Donation

Karmê Chöling depends on financial donations for approximately 25 percent of our operating budget. One-Time Donations help give rise to the improvements in the Main Shrine Room, guest rooms, the Garden and other Karmê Chöling features.

You may make a one-time donation  with the paypal link above. Even if you don’t have a paypal account you can make a donation with your credit card. Or contact our Development Department by email. Please do not send credit card information by email; we will contact you directly for this information. For a one-time donation of $300 or more, you will receive one of the calligraphies below.

Monthly Giving

Join one of Karmê Chöling’s monthly giving associations!

Monthly donors provide Karmê Chöling with predictable cash flow for operational expenses by committing to ongoing monthly donations. As with other donations, these payments can be made by credit card, automatic bank withdrawal, or check. Charges to credit cards and bank withdrawals for monthly donations are made on the 15th of each month.

You will receive a pin and a calligraphy print when you join one of Karmê Chöling’s three monthly giving associations:

• Kubera — $25 – $99/month
• Saddharma — $100 – $249/month
• Saddharma Patron — $250+/month

Please contact the Director of Development  to sign up for one of our membership plans. 

Wish List Donation

Wish-List Donations are a gift in-kind, and eligible for tax deductions under charitable giving.

Grant a wish that is listed in our registry.

Please let the Director of Development  know so that we can properly thank you for your donation. 

Gifts of Securities

Stocks, bonds and mutual funds can be donated to Karmê Chöling. You may write off the full current market value of the securities as a tax deduction (please consult your financial advisor about possible limitations to this rule). Canadian Donors

Due to a Canadian tax law change, beginning July 1, 2019, Canadian donors will no longer be eligible for a Canadian tax deduction when donating to any U.S. Shambhala entity.

You may still make an unrestricted donation to Karmê Chöling at any time – it will help us greatly!
